Dear ORAWORLD Readers

The twenty-first edition of our e-magazine ORAWORLD is out now!

We probably knew it before, but the current crisis proved once more how strong and flexible the Oracle community is. Since March there have been a lot of great online events all around the world as a response to on-site conferences being unfeasible.

In this issue we bring you interviews with the people behind two of these great online events. We talked to Francesco Tisiot, Christian Berg and Gianni Ceresa, the three organizers of ACEs@Home, as well as Martin D’Souza, one of the organizers of APEX@Home. Find out why doing talks online is “a completely different experience”!

Issue #21 also marks the start of a new series on the US CLOUD Act which was passed by the US legislature in 2018 and brought along a lot of questions for decision makers and IT consultants. In this series, our authors will show you what exactly the CLOUD Act determines and what’s behind it.

Of course, there is much more waiting for you. You can look forward to a lot of interesting stories and useful articles from the world of Oracle!

Enjoy reading and stay healthy!

These stories are waiting for you:

. US Cloud Act (Part 1): An Overview
. Phil Wilkins: "My Journey to ACED"
. Interview with the Organizers of ACEs@Home

. Oracle Application Express (Part 4): Find Everything in Your APEX App - How to Use Oracle TEXT
